2024, The Year of the Fourth Man!
“Happy New Year, Everyone!†I believe that this year will be, “The Year of the Fourth Man, to those who believe in, put their trust, and have faith in, The Lord, Jesus Christ!†We know the story in the Old Testament when the three Hebrews boys were thrown into the Firey furnace. In the Book of Daniel, third chapter; the king asked his workers to make the fire seven times hotter, prior to the boys being thrown into the Firey furnace. (Seven being God’s number of perfection.) When King Nebuchadnezzar threw the three Hebrew boys tied up into the fire; the ones that threw them into the fire all died. However, King Nebuchadnezzar saw that these three Hebrew boys were untied, and the Fourth Man, who looked like the Son of God, was walking around with them in the fire! The King was shocked and he called them out of the fire, and found that none of their clothing were scorched, and they were unharmed by the fire. Then, the King declared that their God was Lord of all. Also, the king said that no one could say anything negative about their God, and not suffer the consequences. The three Hebrew boys was also elevated in their positions with the king.
I believe that this year, the Fourth Man is going to show up and show out. In the Books of Acts, in the New Testament, He showed out by using Jesus’ Disciples. I am talking about “The Holy Spirit of God.†The Holy Spirit is not a man, but He is One of The Persons of the Godhead, and He has been around since the beginning. I believe that as we receive Jesus as Lord in our lives; the Holy Spirit will teach us to follow after Jesus; and that He will guide or lead us into all truth as the Bible tells us in John 16:13. He will cause us to be victorious in whatever situations that we might find ourselves in this year. This year, our prayers, our reading of the Bible, fellowshipping, and our commitment to Christ will be realized in others around us. We will stand more this year on, Hebrews 11:6; Romans 8:37; Psalms 23; Psalms 91, 2 Timothy 1:7; Hebrews 13:5 and many other Scriptures in the Bible.
Jesus spoke to Nicodemus, about the Holy Spirit in John 3:8. The Holy Spirit is the One that takes us where the Father wants us to go. He works with us to bring about miracles in the lives of hurting people. He is the One that’s a friend who sticks closer than a brother. The Holy Spirit of Christ within us is the Fourth MAN, Roman 8:9! Only Jesus Christ can give us the Holy Spirit. We need the Holy Spirit because we are made up of only body, soul, and spirit. The Holy Spirit comes to quicken our spirit; so that we can become the children of God. This year, we must let the Fourth Man help us through our Firey furnace or issues that have occurred or will occur in our lives this year that we can’t control. The Holy Spirit will teach us that no matter what we face in this life, we can still walk in the Holy Spirit of God; which is righteous, peace and joy in the Spirit. Jesus helped the Hebrew boys and He will help us this year and for the rest of our lives.
