A MOTHER’S HEART SERVE

A mother’s heart is the most nearest expression of God‘s love than any other member of the family of man can know. Jesus expressed to us in the things that He did while He walked this earth how much the Father loves and cares for us.  While we were yet in sin Christ died for us. Jesus forsook His heavenly home and came down to make the ultimate sacrifice for humanity.

We can live through Jesus Christ victoriously as the Father tried to convey to us through the story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.  Jesus suffered and died for our sins; and rose again to give us someone to turn to when we are in trouble.  He is the only one that truly understands from a human point of view what we go through. He became the way out for us.  Jesus went before us to give us the chance to live victoriously on earth, if we follow in His footstep. Moreover, He went to Heaven before us to intercede for us to the Father in Heaven while we are still here on the earth.  He prepared a place for us in Heaven and He will one day receive us into our Heavenly home with Him. Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice for us by laying down His life so that Satan wouldn’t have the opportunity to torture us here on Earth and to live in Hell with him to be tortured forever. We were helpless as a child, we needed to be loved and cared for, and that what Jesus did for us through the Father.  A mother serves her family and her children with a servant’s heart.

Mother’s Day is a celebration of God’s love that He has shown us through our earthly mothers.  There are biological mothers, who gave birth but never experienced the heartaches and joy of raising a child. Some of these mothers love their children so much that they set aside their own feeling and did what was best for their child by giving the child to someone else to raise. They will never experience the nurturing and the developmental stages of that child’s life.  They will never see the successes and failures of the child as the child struggle from adolescence to adult. Whether or not that child grows up to makes good or bad choices as an adult is not the fault of the mother. Especially, if she does the best for that child that she can.  This is why God has placed people around the child to help the mothers to be the best mothers that she can be. Love has to be the motivating force behind all the decisions that she make for her child. She serves her children unselfishly and will put herself in harm way for her children.

1king 3 chapter of the Bible shows how a mother was willing to let her child go, so that her child could live.  There are so many women in the Bible that interceded for their children because of they love them so much.  Samuel’s mother is also one that gave up her child to God as a sacrifice because God gave her the ability to have him.  Please read 1 Samuel, the first and second chapter for your devotional reading this week.  Jesus said that He will never leave us nor forsake you.  You may rest in the assurance of God’s great love for you.  A mother’s heart is a servant’s heart and serves her children for all of her life. God’s heart is so much bigger and infinite than hers heart could ever be.  Let God show you how much He cares for you.  Let Jesus into your heart today, so that you can know His great love for you! His love is greater than a mother’s heart could ever be.
