We are spiritual beings having a natural experience. However, once mankind fell in the Garden of Eden, he begin to believe that he was a natural being having a spiritual experience, although he had various encounters with God. Nevertheless, a Spiritual God couldn’t interact with mankind on a spiritual level because of the fall of man brought carnality to him. One of the things that God did was to make them clothing. What God did by making those clothing appear to be natural, but it was so much more.  The spiritual world is far more superior to this natural realm.
Satan knows this that’s why he had to get into mankind, before they ate from the Tree of Life. He had to entice Eve to eat of tree of knowledge of good and evil because it would release his attributes to the earth through mankind; this would give  him the power that he craved  to corrupted and warp mankind desire to know a holy God. Mankind was still a spiritual being, and had spiritual desires to know his God, therefore when they ate from the forbidden tree, it cause Satan to have influences over them that would distort their view of a holy and loving God. God gave His Word, but even this Satan can use to his advantage if we are not able to discern spiritual from natural. This is the reason why Jesus came to the earth not only to save us, but also to show us how to walk in the Spirit of a loving God through Him. He came to reconnect us or to return us back to our Spiritual God. You cannot reach God in a carnal state. You can’t see spiritual things in a carnal state. Satan would love for us to see things as a natural being because our thinking will only be worldly and earthy. The greatest minds that have ever lived didn’t tap into the realm or the true meaning of life than those who have developed a relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Without Christ, we find ourselves thinking that if we can’t find what we need in this world, it is unobtainable. Consequently, we will limit or stunt our spiritual growth. Satan would have us to think that the things that we see are real and it is as it should be. Those who are spiritual are searching because they believe that there is something more. Once again without Christ, Satan will corrupt them through ignorance of God’s Word, so that they will find themselves stepping into the realm of evil, unaware.
Let’s look at Genesis 1st chapter the 26th -27th verse: And God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all[a]the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.â€Â 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. (Male and female created in God’s reflection or a representation of God. (Spiritual beings) Now if we look at Genesis 2:7 we can see the spirit(breath of God) operating in the natural (the dust of the ground,  man) Genesis 2:7 the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. Adam was more than a natural man! He just didn’t discern how much of God he really had. He literally was God’s mouth piece on the Earth. Until the fall of man, Adam and Eve had everything that they would need or desire.
