WE MUST LIVE IN THE RESURRECTED LIFE OF CHRIST!

This Sunday many people will be celebrating Easter. They have already had their Easter eggs hunts; bought their Easter clothes; their Easter meals, and many Easter baskets and candies for each other in preparation of this holiday season.  A number of people will attend church that has not gone to church throughout the year simply because it’s “Easter!â€Â  Many churches will have “their sunrise services and they will remember our Lord because of His resurrection meant hope for all who are alive through Him and so that they will live again.   If that is all we see in His resurrection, then we have missed the significance of His resurrection.

We have missed the details that His resurrection is not only for our eternal life, but it’s also for our lives now!  We missed the provision that He made for us prior to His dying on the cross.  He accomplished for us everything that He said that He would do (suffered and died for our sins) while He was on the Earth.    However, today society doesn’t equate His resurrection with their lives.  People usually concluded that if we can’t see it, taste it, touch it, think it, then we surmise that it must not be for us and that it is the will of God.  Please read John chapter 10 and 11 for your devotional reading.

The world tries to set the standard for how we are to believe, even when it comes to our relationship with our own God.  We except what we hear from doctors, lawyers, friends, family members and coworkers.  In addition, we except what we ourselves think.  We accepted failed marriages; broken homes; failing health; poverty; and anything that comes our way.  However, Jesus came that we might have victory over these things, and so much more.  We tend to be reconciled to whatever life brings.

This is not what Jesus had promised us in His Word, the way we view life sometime is not what He desired for us to do.  If we do not take advantage of what Jesus has done for us, we would be in sin. Unbelief in Jesus is a denial of God’s love for us.  If we reject his Son then, we reject His love for us.  Jesus said that the thief (Satan) comes but to steal and to kill and to destroy; but He came that we might have life and it more abundantly.  His birth; His life; and His resurrection gave us hope so that we might have this abundant life that He has promised us, now!

We must live in the resurrected life of Christ so that others might see our success in Him and desire to know Him.  We must not stay in unbelief, but we must trust that God is able to resolve any issues that this life may produce.  We must not relax with anything that this world has to offer, because Satan is the god of this world and he is the One who is ultimately behind the evil that we are experiencing in this world, today.  Whether Satan is using others against us or us against others, he is doing whatever he can to destroy the plans of God for our life.

We must not give in to the temptations that this life brings!  God has something far better for us!  We must look to Jesus and His Words for freedom to live a truly satisfied life. The Holy Spirit is here to help us in this endeavor, but we must trust in Jesus with all our hearts, soul, and mind.  We must believe that He is able to set us free from all of life’s trial and tribulations. Saints of God and friends of God, it is time for us to worship God and to let His Holy Spirit transport us; into the reality that Jesus’ resurrection give us  more than just a successful life. He gave us a life that is fulfilled and vigorously exciting.  Jesus will give us a life that is truly wonderful and a very close and special relationship with Him and our Heavenly Father.  Let Him into your heart today, your life will never be the same!
